This design is achieved by using a STRONG CONTRAST, 2 COLOR YARN. Gauge is not important, but choosing the right yarn is. You can use DK or fingering weight yarn.
There are no instructions for precise number of stitches or gauge. Instead great detail is given in explaining how to start and set up the colors. Once you get started, you have the control to keep the colors somewhat aligned. It will vary and make a "skyline" because hand dyeing is not precise.
